About SUNEW
Sunew, created by CSEM Brazil, a research and innovation center located in Belo Horizonte, is a world leader in the manufacture of Organic Photovoltaic Films (OPV). Through a sustainable supply chain, OPV stands as the cleanest alternative for solar energy production and offers the differential flexibility for application to surfaces of any size and shape.

OPV (Organic Photovoltaic) is the third generation of sunlight capture technology for power generation. It is made from semiconductor organic polymers with a combination of five layers of inks printed on a flexible and recyclable film. The inputs used are abundant in nature and easily produced in the laboratory. It took nearly 10 years of research and development to get Sunew to come up with innovative, continuous and highly scalable industrial technology.

Due to its business model focus on social and environmental development, Sunew has been certified as company B. Through a partnership with the NGO SOS Mata Atlântica, it finances the planting of a new tree for each square meter of OPV produced. Native trees are planted and protected by the Forests of the Future program, which operates in forest restoration in regions of the Atlantic Forest.
